General Guidelines To Preparing Images

Depending on your purpose for your images, you can determine what file size and image resolution to use on the site.

1. For profile pictures and medium size sections
  • somewhere around 600 x 500 pixels
2. For images intended for large spreads on the page (e.g. Slider background image, or fullwidth background)
  • somewhere around 1900 x 1200 pixels

The system resizes the image depending on the context where you place them.

When preparing them inside an image editing tool like Photoshop, keep in mind that the resolution should always be 72 pixels/inch.You should also optimise the file size by saving the file for web.
