Introduction: Yang Guang candidly admits that the thoughts and the emotions of an artist were rather complex. Some artists appear to be calm on the outside but are helpless on the inside. In the dazzling light, they experience lots of temptations.

# 10       Nehemiah was a Himpossible Thinker

Introduction: First, the workforce has to grasp technology quickly for the completion of tasks. Next, we have to seize the opportunities to improve our skills in oral communication, interpersonal interaction, organisational management and other comprehensive abilities. This will expand the boundaries of our workplace, avoiding a narrow emphasis on a specific area or skill.

# 4  Nehemiah was a God-Fearing Leader 

What prevented him from doing what other governors did was the "fear of God". "But because I feared God, I did not act that way" (5:15). Every leader needs to have this biblical doctrine or biblical value to characterize his or her leadership. Fear of humans will bring a snare (Prov 29:25).

Introduction: Having been a doctor for 10 years, the greatest satisfaction Professor Zhang had was being able to contribute to the lives of his patients. After the patients had recuperated and resumed their normal lives and work, their families and communities benefitted from it.

Who was Nehemiah?  He is mentioned five times in the book and never outside of the book (Neh 1:1, 8:9, 8:10, 10:1, 12:26 and 12:47).^[1] The book of Nehemiah fits the reign of Artaxerxes 1 of Persia (464-423 BC). Esther is Artaxerxes step mother and perhaps instrumental in Nehemiah's appointment as King's cup bearer (to protect the king from poisoning and acted as butler and advisor).

How time flies! In the blink of an eye, a few months have passed. Dear friends, how many of your New Year resolutions have been fulfilled? How many have not? Maybe there are some goals that have yet to be accomplished because of inadequate time.

And even as I say this, I hope that our friends here will protest loudly: “No, Angelie, you are wrong! I have achieved my targets exceedingly.”

One of the tests of leadership is how he/she handles opposition. The opposition Nehemiah faced externally was ridicule (4:1-3), resistance (4:7-8) and rumor (4:11-12; 6:6), deceit

(6:10-11) and false reports (6:17) while internally he faced disputes about food, property and taxes (5).

Opportunities for the turning point
