Repentance results not just in crying, but in actual change, real transformation. In the last episode, we heard how Francis and Dorothy attended a marriage course together. A statement made by the facilitator struck Francis deeply - “There are consequences when you break this marriage covenant.” God was at work then and His ways are amazingly perfect for Francis to take note, even from the very first session of the marriage course. Faith is important too for Matthew 19:26 says, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”.

I am so glad that you can join me on this series, which is really the word in season that I received from God in January 2020. Fires were burning in Australia then, in an unprecedented scale, and Covid-19 was the mysterious disease that was just being discovered.

There is a lot of pain and suffering in the world today, but it is important to understand God’s presence and influence in the face of very difficult situations. Hebrews 10:36 says, “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised”. Today, let us see God’s unfailing love leading Francis to deal with his root problem.

In the last three episodes, we learnt that Francis was not prepared to settle down mentally and financially while Dorothy walked into marriage knowing they had personal conflicts between them. Marriage was not a fantasy like what fairy tales describe - “the prince and princess lived happily forever after”. To Francis and Dorothy, marriage was a complete nightmare. Today, let us find out how they progressed as Francis decided to talk to God.

Hello brothers and sisters, peace be to all. Thank you for staying with us the last four months. This is the last lesson of the series.

Last week, we mentioned that we are a new creation because we are new in Christ and we have a new relationship with God and with man. And how God loves us, so we love ourselves; how God loves others, so we learn how to care for others as well. Therefore, we have been constantly adjusting these relationships so that our lives can constantly be a witness for God, glorifying and manifesting His glory.

The bomb-blast discovery ruined Dorothy’s dream completely and the trust she had in Francis. Today, let us continue to see their lives as two individuals.

When Dorothy insisted on a separation, Francis had mild regret because he felt he lost the family for whom he worked hard to build. But life as a bachelor, on the other hand, was a total relief as he physically escaped from her accusations and nagging, and could do what he wished with no more restrictions.
