We are talking about the person and the work of the Holy Spirit in and through the life of the Christian. In these lessons, we are focusing on the supernatural aspect of the Holy Spirit working through every believer's life.

As I mentioned in our last lesson together, I was raised in a church. I heard many messages about Jesus. About His life and His work on this earth. I heard many messages taught from the four Gospels and the messages focused on the miracles of Jesus – the parables He taught – the principles of the sermon on the mount.

Do you think Christians should compete in the workplace? Is it God’s will for Christians to compete? Should we try to avoid competing with others? In competing, sometimes, there may be arguments. So as Christians, should we argue? Friends who ask these questions often quote 2 Timothy 2:24, “the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.”

In the church that I attended with my family, at the end of every service, we would sing a closing song – we called the closing song the doxology. The word doxology simply means a short song that expresses our praise to God. 

The words to the doxology I sang are:

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
