In these lessons, we are talking about the importance of the Holy Spirit working in our lives. In our last lesson, we discussed how the Holy Spirit helps us successfully resist and overcome the spiritual attacks of Satan.

In this lesson, we want to focus on how the Holy Spirit supernaturally guides us and helps us make wise decisions in life.

Last week, we talked about a few trivial matters that are easily overlooked in the workplace: punctuality, procrastination, and being organized in our filing and personal workspaces. If these 3 small matters are well done, we would be more efficient, more effective and less tired. Today, here are another 3 trivial matters that affect productivity and how we can manage them better: interruptions, meetings and the daily commute.

1. Be Productive Despite Interruptions

We have been talking about the subject of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit and its importance in equipping Christians with the supernatural power necessary in fulfilling the Great Commission.

In our last lesson, we discussed the first reason we need to receive the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.

The first reason is found in John 14:12 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

1.  Punctuality

Some may say, "Hey, this is a trivial matter! Who hasn't been late?”

We have been talking about the subject of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. We ended our discussion last time looking at the words of Jesus in Acts chapter 1 and verses 4 & 5.

Acts 1:4 – And being assembled together with them, commanded them – what? – that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me….verse 5 – For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Welcome back to our study of the Holy Spirit. We are looking at the work of the Holy Spirit in and through the life of the Christian. We have already discovered two specific operations of the Holy Spirit.
