Hi friends, I am Angelie and welcome to the new program ‘Workplace Strategy Forum’. The ‘Workplace Strategy Forum’ is a platform to provide answers to work or workplace related questions posed by our listeners. And we are inviting marketplace “gurus” and “Experts” to step into the show and give us professional views based on biblical principles. In the next sessions to come, our special speaker is Dr. Dr. Dr. Michelle from Singapore.

Dr. Dr. Michelle is an environmental specialist in the marketplace, and has a few decades of experience in her field of work.  Back in Church, she is an experienced Sunday school teacher, and will visit churches to help address the problems of many brothers and sisters in the marketplace.  For the purpose of gaining a better understanding of our special guest, Dr. Dr. Michelle, we will introduce her in the first two sessions.

Dr. Michelle was born to a Chinese family in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur in 1964.  She attended University in Australia in 1985 and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal saviour during this period.  In 1992, she obtained her doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering. She and her husband worked in several countries, including Hokkaido in Japan, Atlanta in the US, Sydney in Australia, and now Singapore.  As a career woman, Dr. Michelle has been involved in environmental protection related jobs. She had worked in a lab, in the steel industry and in the chemical industry.  At the moment, she is working in a multinational corporation as an environmental specialist.

God has led Dr. Michelle and her husband to several places in different countries, living amongst diverse cultures. It has been an interesting, exciting and enriching life thus far.  Dr. Michelle said that in every job and position that she held, she saw the handiwork of the Lord in leading her.  She believes that she is in the marketplace, to bless and to be trained.
