Speaker: Dr. Michelle Liew | Video Editor: Goh Soo Mun

How is a salaried man to bless a corporation to grow and raise his personal worth? And, how can a business operator keep his business to stay firm as a rock amidst the winds and waves as he contributes to society and seeks the welfare of his staff?

Welcome to our programme series “Musings of the Workplace” to hear Dr Liew share the way to handle difficult situations at the workplace.

Dear friends, are you satisfied with the general atmosphere in your workplace? Do you see any need to rectify some of the bad vibes around the workplace? If so, do you know how to go about doing that?

Now, Dr Liew will walk us through some negative examples and highlight what the missing key values are. Feasible solutions would also be put up as reference for us to work in a top-down / inside-out direction in order to nurture good culture. By doing so, the rotten atmosphere can be expunged once and for all!

Lastly, let us end this programme by reflecting on the questions below:

1.   What do you think of the general vibe in your company? How do the corporate cultural values look like based on this judgement?

2.   What do you think can be done on those areas in the corporate culture that are less than ideal?

3.   What actions have you in mind to upgrade yourself and improve the workplace culture and spirit after this series of discussions?

I look forward to your feedback on how you feel about this programme series and the key learnings from the topics covered. May we sharpen one another and achieve excellence at the workplace.
