Welcome listeners to our sixth talk of this series of New Testament Survey. We come now to the book of Acts, which is the only history book of the New Testament. Luke, the author of the Gospel is also the author of Acts. He gives us a well-researched account of the events from key witnesses and participants, especially Paul which whom he has close ministry association. He is himself a participant in some of the events in Acts. I shall present a summarised account with highlights of key events. It covers from AD30 to AD62.

Welcome to talk eleven of our series of twelve. Today we shall complete our coverage of Old Testament prophecy by looking into the twelve books of the minor prophets. These are Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. These are the twenty eighth to the thirty ninth books of the Old Testament. Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament.

Dear listeners, welcome to talk ten of our series of twelve. We noted the importance of prophecy in the last talk in terms of its place in the Old Testament and even of the Bible as a whole. Today we look at the five books of the major prophets. These are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Daniel, the twenty third to the twenty seventh books of the Old Testament. The distinction between the major and the minor prophets is not about the importance of the message. Every prophecy from God is important.

Welcome to talk nine of our series of twelve. Today we are looking into the matter of prophecy in the Old Testament. The Old Testament category of prophecy follows after the wisdom books. It consists of seventeen books, the twenty third to the thirty ninth. It is divided into the major prophets, which consists of five books from the twenty third to the twenty seventh, and the minor prophets which consists of twelve books from the twenty eight to the thirty ninth. The five books of the major prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Daniel.
