My co-worker once asked her friend, “What is your impression about those Christians in your office?”  Without hesitation, he replied, “Oh, okay, they are quite friendly.” She pressed him further, “Other than being friendly?”  He pondered and continued, “Hmm … well, they are just friendly.”

Erm … we Christians are just ‘friendly’? Nothing more?  

What are your impressions of Christians at your workplace?

Aside from a few bad apples, in general, many Christians are helpful. They are always smiling, courteous, always gentle, and generally nice and good people, aren’t they?

Many new believers and even non-Christians know of the Beatitudes taught by our Lord Jesus Christ. The seventh Beatitude in Matthew 5:9 is “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Throughout the Bible, we are often exhorted to live in peace.
