Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. (Proverbs 29:18)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thanks for tuning in to GLOBAL REACHOUT. I am Sister Angelie, and starting from November, we have launched the program called the "Kingdom Business Culture". This program is based on the workplace training course by GLOBAL JIREH entitled, "Christ-centred Entrepreneurship". This course was compiled by Pastor Tony TAY Meng Hiang to help brothers and sisters live out Christ in the workplace.

We encourage brothers and sisters to sign up for this course, so that they will not only have the opportunity to communicate directly with the instructors, but also establish long-term and close contacts with the kingdom business operators in the group, learn from each other and encourage one another, and put the theory into practice. Living out Christ in the workplace. For those who are interested, you can refer to the end of the manuscript and register by email. What we are going to talk about in today's program is that our personal and corporate positioning must be aligned with God's positioning system in order to fulfill our destiny, which is God's plan for us.

Dear friends, you can see that the price of the same cup of coffee in an ordinary eating place can be several times different from the price in a high-end cafe. Why? There is no right or wrong here. The difference in price is because the ordinary eating place and the high-end café serve different audiences—they are positioned differently.

So, how do we properly position ourselves to ensure that we are walking in God's plan every step of the way? We must have a heart that is willing to respond to God’s calling, a mind that knows how to discern God’s words, and a pair of hands that can make the right choice, so that we can move forward according to God’s guidance.

Firstly, we must have a heart that is willing to respond to God's calling. Our hearts are right when we resolve our hearts to obey the Lord and to respond to any calling that comes from Him. As 1 Samuel 15:22 says: To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

Secondly, when we know how to identify which thoughts and opinions are in line with the Word of God, we are the right people. We must study the word of the Lord seriously because it will make us wise. Today, God no longer tells us to turn left or right directly, but the Holy Spirit guides us to discern what is right and what is wrong, and what biblical thinking is.

Thirdly, when we choose to do what is right, we do the right thing, and our business makes the right decisions. When we use love as our motive and righteousness as our standard, we can make wise choices. Whether it is a person or a company, if our emotions choose to love the truth, our reason considers the truth, and we are willing to choose the truth with willpower, we can align with God and walk on the narrow path of the kingdom of heaven without being astray.

Next, let's take a look at why everyone and every company must have their own vision and mission.

Dear friends, God has a unique plan for each of us, each business, to accomplish a specific vision. God will follow the plan and lead us step by step in fulfilling our mission and moving toward our vision. Today, do we clearly know what are our vision and mission in life, and what is the vision and mission of our business? Only by clarifying the vision and mission, can we have a clear position. What is the difference between vision and mission? Vision is the vision we look forward to, and vision allows us to know the direction ahead; and mission is the role we need to play. Mission makes individuals and businesses aware of their responsibilities, and we realize the vision by fulfilling the mission.

Let's look at the vision first. When we uphold the vision from heaven (Acts 26:19) and stay true to our own destiny, the will is to imitate Christ. Whether it is an individual or a business, our vision cannot be one-sided and needs to be considered comprehensively. The truth brings an integrated and perfect vision, which can simultaneously reflect the righteousness and holiness of the truth. This vision of perfect integration will also bring the integration of resources, because it will prompt the arrival of resources, whether what we need is human, material, financial, or spiritual. In other words, it is resources chasing vision, not vision chasing resources. This shows the importance of vision, while also reminding leaders of the need to communicate vision effectively. In an enterprise, everyone in the company must have a clear understanding of the company's vision, so that everyone knows what they are working for. This vision will inspire enthusiasm and commitment from like-minded individuals.

Now that we understand the vision, let's look at the mission. Everyone has a mission in life, and an enterprise exists to fulfill its mission. Mission shows the role that individuals and businesses should play, but also implies responsibility. It is in the process of taking responsibility that the meaning and value of our existence are reflected. The Kingdom Enterprise was created in response to the Great Mission—the most important mission of every Christian. The Great Mission commands us to make disciples of the Lord Jesus of all nations. "Go" is the way, "making a disciple" is the goal. Every Christian and every kingdom enterprise should respond to the Great Mission according to their respective callings and promote the replication and multiplication of the kingdom culture. To this end, business people should devote themselves to "Missional Business" and integrate mission into business. As we do this, the Lord promises that He will be with us. In addition, doing so will also give us a clear basis for making decisions, and be able to identify and let go of matters that are not related to the corporate mission. It also reminds everyone to hold each other accountable and shoulder the responsibility together.

Summarizing the above, companies and individuals who respond to their destiny have three characteristics: a heart willing to obey, a mind that knows the truth, and hands that make the right decisions. Such a person, such a company, will know its vision and mission. Vision is our envision, and mission is the role we play. A clear vision let the team know why they work together, and a clear mission let teammates know the responsibilities that everyone should take together. After clarifying the vision and mission, we will be clear about our own position and fulfill our destiny under the guidance of God. Dear friends, this is where we end today's episode. I hope to see you again on the next episode of Kingdom Business Culture!
