Hello and welcome to Workplace Strategy

Friends, do you ever tire of your job because you feel it lacks creativity? Do you remember the days when you first began your job?  Do you now feel as enthusiastic as when you first started? If you feel tired or jaded, you are not alone.

Even people with creative jobs get jaded. Take Hiroshi Sugimoto. Sugimoto is a well-known, world-class Japanese artist who specialises in photography and design.  He has won many awards including the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography and the French Order of Arts & Letters – an award given for significant contributions to the arts and literature in France.  Sugimoto is widely known as a prolific photographer. His camera is always searching for unique, extraordinary angles of people, things and objects. Since his work involves creativity on a daily basis, it should be such an interesting job that one would never get tired of.

Little would you expect then, Sugimoto revealed in an interview, that he would not be able to take it if he had to spend his entire life doing photography.
