Hello friends! Welcome to episode 16 of Workplace Strategy.

Have you heard of Dr. Pat Robertson? He is famous, especially among American Christians.

Dr Pat Robertson is the founder of several major institutions, companies, and universities in the United States. He is a pastor, a university president, and a writer. It’s interesting that Wikipedia first lists him as an American media mogul. In the 1960s, Robertson saw the huge influence of television on families and society. So, he founded the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN),  a conservative evangelical Christian television network and production company. Their programs explored family ethics and values. Over the years, Robertson became a pivotal figure in American media. Today, CBN's influence has gone beyond the borders of the United States, to as far away as Eurasia and South America.

In addition, Robertson is also very enthusiastic about charity. The Flying Hospital that he initiated was the first of its kind. The Flying Hospital is an aeroplane equipped with medical equipment. It travels to many countries and provides free medical services. Robertson was the founder of “Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation”, which helps the poor and the needy in various countries in different ways – from helping locals in digging wells to providing medical and agricultural assistance.
