Hello brothers and sisters, welcome to Workplace Strategy!
Do you think Christians should compete in the workplace? Is it God’s will for Christians to compete? Should we try to avoid competing with others? In competing, sometimes, there may be arguments. So as Christians, should we argue? Friends who ask these questions often quote 2 Timothy 2:24, “the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.”
What is this passage trying to teach us? From the previous verses, we have found that the word “quarrelsome" refers to arguments. Apostle Paul reminds young Timothy not to speak ill of others and not to argue with hotheaded people who are just looking for a debate.
